MUSIC WORLDWIDE EVENTS SUMMER 2010

Music Worldwide will once again be hosting the 'All Singing All Dancing' & 'World Rhythms' workshop tents at WOMAD Festival Charlton Park. Amongst our eclectic mix of artists, we are delighted to be presenting such illustrious names as Afro Celt Sound System, Drummers of Burundi, The Kamkars, Rizwan Qwawwli, Dhobet Gnahore, The Sounds of West Africa and many more...

Probably our most successful Drum Camp yet. 3 days of glorious sunshine, 40 workshops a day, 4 nights of spectacular evening performances made our 15th anniversary event one of our best.

ABOUT US

Music Worldwide are an established organisation working with many top international artists from all corners of the globe. Our work takes us into many project areas including; tour management, festival production, event programming, recording  work, and other specialist education and performance related projects. Music Worldwide also present Drum Camp Festival, an established world music education and performance event, now in its fifteenth year.

We have managed touring programmes and visits for individual artists, and large ensemble groups such as Modou Diouf and O Fogum from Senegal, and The Danza Libre Company from Cuba. In 2008 we organised two highly successful tours for Brazilian hip hop/samba group Monobloco, from Rio De Janeiro, and Cuba's leading folkloric percussion troupe Rumberos De Cuba from Havana.

Music Worldwidewill once againcoordinate all the WOMADprogramme for their Drum and Dance tents atCharlton Park 2010. As well as Bringing in many of our own artists and teachers,wewill be working withmany of the performing artists at this year’s event.

The 15th annual Drum Camp festivalis now confirmed for 8th-11th July 2010,and will be held at our usual location in Suffolk. We haveput an amazing line-up together for this event,Artists include: Kissmet, Hossam Ramzy and his Egyptian Orchestra,Seckou Keita, Cuban Combination, Ramon Goose and Diabel Cissokho, The Sweetbeats and many more.

Music Worldwide are proud to present Senegalese artist NURU KANE and his band at VIBE LIVE, a new world music destination above the famous Vibe Bar in London's Brick Lane.

Concert takes place Thursday 12th June

Music Worldwide continue their series of concerts at Vibe Live, a new and intimate concert venue located above the Vibe Bar, in London's Brick Lane.

Next band featured are Anglo/Indian fusion band Kissmet playing Thursday 8th May
